'Twas the night before Christmas
Not a sound was heard in the house.
No one was stirring;

The opening narration to my favourite Tom & Jerry Christmas cartoon will be familiar to many of you I'm sure, but I have to say the prospect of Christmas is leaving me a bit cold this year and I’m not talking about the weather. Now, before I hear cries of scrooge and bah humbug, maybe I should clarify… I actually love Christmas... I really do!! It's just I could do with it shifting a few months. Approximately 12 months would be fine by me! I am completely unprepared for it and now face the prospect of the trip to 'Meadowhell', where I will no doubt jostle for a parking space for about 40 minutes before being bounced around the shops by the 100,000 other festive shoppers like some crazy grumpy pinball!!
On the up side, one of the highlights, the office Christmas party is the week after next. I wonder what secret santa will bring me this year?
NOTE TO SELF: If anybody suggests going clubbing or anything to do with dancing, leave immediately haha!!!
