Superbike Island
There was some fantastic news for Phillip Island this week, which is very exciting for everyone concerned. Victorian Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Tim Holding announced the extension of the contract for the Australian round of the Superbike World Championship, with the series set to stage spectacular racing at Phillip Island until at least 2014.
Added to this, the agreement also sees Philip Island as the official pre-season test venue for the next two years. RBP's very own Superbike rider James Toseland was invited to the press event prior to the first round of the series at the same circuit this weekend.
