Ash? Don't know what all the fuss is about!
We have ventured down south for a week's holiday and visited the fantastic Longleat Safari Park, before heading on to Center Parcs.
The safari park is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone... We drove through lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras and many more. We thought feeding deer was an excellent idea – how wrong could we be?! After laughing at Ali struggling with a deer trying to eat the cup that the feed came in, I had a go and the deer tried to eat my shoulder and then my seat belt!
A highlight of the day was a boat trip on the lake to feed sea lions. The male of the group was huge and apparently weighed 50 stone! We saw the resident gorilla who has his own island on the lake fitted out with all mod cons including Sky TV!
We also got lost in a maze, met Postman Pat, saw cute fruit bats and turned down the opportunity to hold a tarantula!
All in all, a great family day out!
