Water, water everywhere!
Today was a wet day in terms of activities – not weather! With the sun shining yet again, we headed for the pool and actually managed to get our usually nervous daughter down the outside river rapids! Despite the initial shock of the cold, she loved it and we spent the rest of the morning either going down the rapids or warming up in the hot bubble pool!
In the afternoon we took to the lake, and as a qualified ski boat driver I am more than able to steer a pedalo... or at least I thought I was! This was the first time we had taken Sophie out on a lake in a small boat and these things are always open to disaster. However, she sat happily watching the world go by as we pedalled away! It is hard work in a pedalo and I am rapidly thinking that going back to work will be a whole load easier... roll on tea at a restaurant with a soft play area to tire Sophie out!!!
