From Guangzhou to Grimsby
RBP has commenced a new international project… with a Chinese flavour. Last week, we started working with Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education (GIFHE) and a group of Chinese media students for 12 consecutive weeks.
The seven girls and one guy are all media students, aged 20 or 21, who are studying at Guangzhou University and have decided to take a semester in Grimsby to develop their marketing communication skills.
Chen Yinghua, Lin Hongni, Yanling Zheng, Wu Jiaxi, Zhang Yijing, Che Yajing, Zheng Ziwei and Tang Fan will be tasked with briefing our digital and creative teams to design and build a website. They will then stock the site with news stories, supported by appropriate photography and video content.
The site will be promoted by social media platforms, SEO etc. to display their work to peers in China and other countries. GIFHE’s intention is to market the course to a wider audience and use RBP as a key part of the programme… Watch this space for news of our progress and the next intake in 2012.
