Happy Birthday Charlie!
This weekend we celebrated our son Charlie's birthday - I can't believe it's been a year already! This time 12 months ago we were bringing our tiny baby home from the hospital, and now he's already walking and "talking" (although words only comprehendable to his parents).
It's amazing how quickly children progress and fascinating to see them develop their own little personality traits, likes and dislikes. Already I know that Charlie loves looking at picture books, any kind of music he can dance to and posting objects he shouldn't into the washing machine. I also know he has to be hoodwinked into having his nappy changed, doesn't ever want to get out of the bath and isn't keen on having his two teeth cleaned.
Here's Charlie playing with one of his favourite new birthday toys - a ride-on fire truck. He particularly likes pressing the fire engine's bell over and over and over...
