UK success with US star
Earlier this week, there was much excitement in the office when the RBP motorcycle team got the opportunity to supply Audrina Patridge, one of the US TV stars of the MTV television series The Hills, with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and clothing for the London-based season finale party.
For those who don’t know, The Hills is a reality television show that follows the lives of several characters living in Los Angeles, California and has been big hit in the US as well as UK. The majority of the girls in our Lincolnshire office watch the series (it was only last week that we were discussing the final series and Audrina’s new show that is due to air in 2011).
Although working to a tight time schedule, we organised to send one of the latest H-D models on our press fleet, the stunning Fat Boy Special, to the party. We also sent some items from the new Harley-Davidson MotorClothes Fashionwear range along with the female Diva helmet for Audrina to wear on big arrival.
The placement was a huge success. So far, we have seen coverage on various celebrity gossip websites as well as in OK!, Now magazine, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail and many more. Apparently Audrina loved the motorcycle and clothing, and we hope to work with her again in the near future on some another opportunities…
