BMW recently engaged RBP to travel to the picturesque Alpine skiing resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany to report on the legendary BMW Motorrad Days extravaganza. This annual festival of biking - which attracts over 30,000 motorcyclists - is surely one of the best brand building exercises that BMW has ever developed. Completely free to visitors, it showcases the company's products and services in a relaxed, yet friendly atmosphere that helps attract visitors from all over the world.
Armed with nothing more than a notebook, voice recorder and the services of top photographer Glenn Blackburn, RBP staff provided news and pictures of the event for BMW's global network of marketing and PR contacts. Despite inclement weather conditions, the event was a roaring success, and other manufacturers should take note. Same again next year please!
