As well as our international PR support service for BMW Motorrad continuing into its fifth year, weve also been appointed to provide marketing support for the BMW Motorrad Motorsport factory team in its second year in the Superbike World Championship. The team had always stated that its first year in this highly-competitive international race series would be about developing the BMW S 1000 RR race bike and gathering data. However, despite the high level of competition, the team still managed a respectable 17 top-ten finishes in its first season.
Having retained the services of experienced riders Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus for a second year, the team is targeting podium finishes. RBPs brief is to provide detailed and passionate race reporting, previews and background stories to exploit the high level of interest in this project and the new Superbike. With an RBP press officer following the team around the world as well as providing office support and an agency partnership providing translation into German, this project promises to be an exciting one! www.bmw-motorrad.com
