RBP's digital account team showcased its creative and technical talents when it produced a fully interactive media pack for Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe). The press communication tool was used by Hitachi at Bauma - the largest construction exhibition in the world - which took place last month in Munich.
The agency was tasked with producing a two-phase digital media pack: The first was for the pre-Bauma press conference and included brief information on the new products to be launched at the exhibition. The phase two version incorporated a fully comprehensive catalogue of media information on all of the new models, including press releases, high resolution images, product brochures, specifications and product specialist biographies.
The sophisticated digital media pack was created using the "Gaia Framework" - a software plug-in tool specifically for multimedia applications. The final version was presented on a bespoke CD Rom, with artworked skin and sleeve, and distributed to over 200 journalists at Bauma.
