Racing ahead with a new site 25 Apr 2011
RBP International has just completed a new website for Harley-Davidson’s XR1200 race series. Last year saw the inaugural season of the high-adrenaline superbike championship and after RBP helped make sure it was a huge success, Harley-Davidson is bringing it back for 2011. While we handled all PR management aspects last year, in time for the new season, the client also commissioned a new website.
The site was built from scratch by RBP’s digital team, with one of the key aims being to improve the speed with which the site could be updated. The previous site, which had not been managed by RBP, could not be updated at weekends – the time when all the action takes place!
The website was given a dynamic new look and decked out in the signature Harley colours of black, orange and white. The easy-to-navigate design includes photos, rider stats and a calendar right on the front page – ideal for race fans wanting to quickly get the latest news on how their favourite rider is performing.
